Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. This page explains what information we collect when you visit this site or sign up for our mailing list, how we use it, and what we never do with it.
What We Collect
- Email addresses — only when you voluntarily sign up for our mailing list. We don't collect your email any other way.
- Website analytics — we use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use this site. It collects anonymous, aggregated data: pages visited, approximate location (city/country level), device type, and referral source. This data is not tied to you personally.
- Order information — all orders are processed through Square, our payment processor. Square handles your payment details, name, and order information directly. We never see or store your full payment card number.
How We Use It
- Your email address is used only to send occasional updates about weekly bakes, specialty drops, and bakery news. That's it.
- Analytics data helps us understand which pages people visit and how they find us, so we can make the site more useful.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Mailing List and Unsubscribing
Signing up for the mailing list is entirely optional. If you ever want off the list, every email we send includes an unsubscribe link. One click and you're removed immediately. You can also reach out to us directly on Instagram or Facebook and we'll take care of it right away.
Cookies and Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics, which places a small cookie in your browser to measure traffic and usage over time. The data is anonymous and aggregated. If you'd prefer not to have cookies set, you can disable them in your browser settings or use a browser extension like the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of outside services to run the site and bakery. Each handles data under its own privacy policy:
- Square — order processing and payments. Square Privacy Policy
- Google Analytics — site traffic measurement. Google Privacy Policy
- Cloudflare — website hosting and delivery. Cloudflare Privacy Policy
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information to us, please reach out and we'll remove it promptly.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy occasionally as the site evolves. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the change. We won't bury anything.
